Easter Egg Collection 2016

Elis Pryce

Elis has been busy collecting Easter eggs from cash donations received from local businesses and residents.  Easter eggs are being delivered to both Hollins Wood / Park Nursing Homes, Cimla and Ty Hafan on Thursday 24th March 2016.

Staff at Cimla Funeral Home are calling on local businesses, community groups and residents to donate Easter eggs to our Easter Egg Collection initiative 2017. We want to try and brighten this time of year for both the elderly and the young and this year we have decided to donate the eggs to both Hollins Care Centre, Cimla and the childrens charity Ty Hafan.

We hope that the local community will support us, and help to make Easter a happier time for those more vulnerable tahn ourselves.

There are a number of ways you can donate your Easter eggs:

• Drop them off at The Cimla Funeral Home (we would love to see you for a cup of tea and a cake)!! Alternatively we have funeral homes in Resolven and Skewen so inbox us for details.
• You can also ring us on (01639) 769500 or email us at:
to make arrangements for us to call at your home to pick them up.

If you could like and share we would be extremely grateful!!!

A little statement we have received on behalf of Ty Hafan thanking us for our Easter egg collection on their behalf and where the eggs will be donated to:

‘Tŷ Hafan would love to receive a donation of Easter Eggs from yourselves which you collect and donate to a number of charities.
We distribute these mainly to our families and siblings as a lot of our children are unable to eat due to the varying life-limited conditions that they have.
Not all of our families visit the hospice so we also have an Outreach Programme which means that our staff visit children and their families in the home.
We also have a number of Easter Egg Hunts at the hospice as well as Easter Bonnet making and a parade, we also decorate eggs and make Easter cards.

Thank you so much for thinking Tŷ Hafan worthy of your support, it is very much appreciated’.
